The inspection of portable ladders includes, but not limited to the following:

1. Is the length of the ladder suitable for the job?

2. Visually check the safety of the ladder, such as whether bending deformation, damage, fracture, corrosion, pedal spacing is unequal or short pedal, etc.

3. Whether the climbing or grasping surface of the ladder has snow, ice, oil, wax and other slippery substances.

4. The safety of ropes and pulleys should be visually checked for ladders that need to be operated with ropes.

5. Visually check the safety of the pole.

6. Make sure there is a good safety stop.

7. Make sure the ladder is inspected and visually marked.
