Usage Precautions Of Fiberglass Ladder

Insulation material is an essential material in electrical products and is a material that separates a charged body from other parts. Insulating materials have a very large resistance to DC current. Under the action of DC voltage, in addition to a very small surface leakage current, it is practically non-conductive. For AC current, capacitor current passes through, but it is also considered to be non-conductive. The greater the resistivity of the insulating material, the better the insulating performance.

In general, electrical machinery and electrical equipment are made up of conductor materials, magnetic materials, insulating materials and structural materials. In the operation of motor and electrical appliances, it is inevitable to be subjected to temperature, electrical, mechanical stress and vibration, harmful gases, chemicals, moisture, dust, radiation and other factors. These factors have a more pronounced effect on insulating materials than on other materials. It can be said that insulation materials are more sensitive to these factors, easy to deteriorate, resulting in electrical equipment damage. So insulation material is the key material to determine the reliability of the motor and electrical appliances. With the extension of the operation time, insulating materials are bound to age, and the aging rate is faster than other materials, so the key material to determine the service life of motors and electrical appliances is also insulating material.

Insulation material is good, but easy to aging, so we must pay attention to some details when using the fiberglass ladder, do a good job of maintenance at ordinary times. Specifically, the following points should be achieved:

1. When used, if on the ground, it should be smooth on the surface, if at high altitude, it should be flat and stable. Keep your hands away from the ladder hinge and ladder lock when opening or closing the ladder harness.

2. If there is a table design on the folding ladder, the table must be equipped with appropriate railings, and the standing point should not exceed the table.

3. If the ladder does not have a work bench design, the highest standing point should be a pair that can hold one step tightly to maintain balance. Do not stand at the top of the ladder or work on a roof with objects on it.

4. Fiberglass ladders must be placed on a firm, flat and dry surface. Do not put the ladder on boxes, bricks or other unstable objects to increase the working height.

5. If the fiberglass ladder is to a roof or platform, the top three levels shall be above the surface level of the roof/platform. Inclined escalators should meet the 4:1 safety Angle requirements.

6. Tie the handrails at the top and foot of the ladder (not the steps) to the firm fulcrum with ropes. If you cannot secure the ladder with ropes, ask for assistance in securing the ladder (one foot firmly on the bottom step and both hands firmly on the handrails).

7. The user should face the fiberglass ladder at any time, with the body center of gravity between the handrails on both sides to ensure three-point contact, that is, the three limbs of the body should contact the ladder at any time.

8. Do not exceed the working load of the ladder. If there are people on the ladder, do not move.
